BSCM Committees
Standing Committees
Standing committees are mandated by our By-Laws as a means of providing for ongoing oversight of Camp Meeting needs. These committees are usually chaired by a member of the Board of Trustees and all interested cottagers are invited to participate as members.
Program Committee

Purpose: |
This committee is responsible for general supervision of the religious services held upon the Camp Meeting grounds. It shall recommend to the Board of Trustees the employment of a Camp director, minister, evangelists, musicians, and/or other personnel as it deemed proper, and shall verify to the Board for payment the salaries and expenses of those so engaged. |
Grounds Committee

Purpose: |
This committee is responsible for general supervision of the grounds; purchase of supplies required for its work; the location, construction, renting, and selling of cottages and othe buildings; privileges and sanitation; and enforcement of regulations for the comfort and safety of residents. |
Finance Committee
Chair: |

Purpose: |
This committe is responsible for general supervision of the financial affairs of the Association, including the billing and collection of ground rentals and taxes, electricity, assessments, and all other charges. The committee shall examine and approve all bills before they are presented to the Board of Trustees for authorization for payment. |
Special Committees
Each year the Board of Trustees shall establish a Nominating Committee, Auditing Committee, Interview Committee, and such other committees as the Board may from time to time deem advisable. These committees shall have at least three members, drawn from members of the Association as appointed by the Board. Each committee shall exercise such powers and duties as may be conferred upon it and render such reports as may be required by the Board.
